Brad Cousins is an executive advisor, speaker, and the creator of the Built For Trust™ model. For more than two decades he has helped CEOs, business owners, and leadership teams turn disruption into growth, advising more than seventy boards and chief executives across Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
He is the founder of Brad Cousins & Company and Ingage Human Capital Strategies, where his work centers on leadership, culture, and the human dynamics that determine whether organizations thrive or fracture. Before building his advisory practice, he spent years in as a private equity as a operating partner, including senior strategy and transformation roles globally, focusing on distressed acquisitions and turnarounds. Brad has taught and spoken on leadership in settings ranging from boardrooms across the American to audiences in China, Hong Kong, London Paris, Greece and Brussels.
Dr Cousins holds a PhD from the International School of Management and an MBA from Arkansas State University, and is a contributor with Entrepreneur Media. Out of that work—and out of his own hardest seasons—came the Universal Trust Model at the heart of this book: a synthesis of attachment theory, organizational psychology, behavioral economics, game theory, and clinical psychology into one framework for building, and rebuilding, the relationships that hold our lives together.
